Who we are

Syed Q Mentoring provides life coaching online and face-to-face from Wolverhampton. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Contact: enquiry@syedqmentoring.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request a consultation, book a session or send an enquiry we collect the details you give us: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, time zone, the service and format you are interested in, preferred dates and times, and any short note you choose to add. For face-to-face sessions we also collect the proposed venue, postcode, venue type and any accessibility needs you share. For couples enquiries we collect contact details for both participants and confirmation that both are adults who agree to take part.

Please do not include sensitive personal details in forms. We only ask for what is needed to arrange coaching.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange and confirm appointments, prepare quotations and invoices, verify payments, and keep basic business records. Our lawful bases are steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations (such as financial record keeping) and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Couples enquiries

Details provided by each participant in a couples enquiry are handled privately and are not shared with the other participant without consent, except where needed to arrange the joint session.

Confidentiality and its limits

Coaching conversations are treated respectfully and confidentially. There are limits: information may need to be shared where there is a legal obligation or a serious risk of harm to you or others.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We use service providers to run this website, send email and host video calls (for example WhatsApp or Zoom, depending on your choice). These providers process data under their own terms.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of paid sessions and invoices are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights
